Hey Buddy

The place was full when we arrived and there was nowhere to sit. We sat outside because that was all that was available and it started to rain. I will just say that even if you have to sit in the rain and the cold to eat here it is absolutely worth it! The food was spot on and delicious and women who work there were super friendly.

Fancy having to come all the way from the huon to penguin to find this little gem. Absolutely outstanding breakfast, hubby said the granola and seasonal fruit was the best he's ever had. Myself I had eggs Benny. Once again just delicious. Bacon perfectly cooked and eggs just right and not too much sauce,it was perfect. Five yummys from me.

Hidden gem of a cafe. All three meals were sizeable and absolutely delicious. Sitting outside was refreshing and the service was nothing short of excellent. Definitely a must visit!

We try visiting this cafe every Sunday, a family favourite. The food is consistently amazing, it’s always a hard decision choosing something off the menu. The staff are always so friendly and attentive. The coffee is always perfect. It’s really hard to find this cafe experience on the North-West Coast! Highly recommend to anyone, this will become your regular cafe when you try it

I struggle to give five stars, an establishment needs to be exceptional. As Hey Buddy is. Simply cannot fault Hey Buddy. The forager and their Ruben sandwich is phenomenal. Such friendly and welcoming service as well. I was lucky to live in West Ulverstone and call this cafe my local. Sad I no longer live in the area but still make the trip back once a month just for their amazing menu.

Lovely little Cafe, friendly staff and cute decor. Delicious food, yummy coffee. We both had the "Nourish bowl". Music was quite loud making conversation difficult. I liked the tunes, just found the volume a bit high.

It was Saturday morning You can't imagine how busy Hey Buddy is right now. It's like a supermarket.You can totally imagine when you find a chair to sit down. It was like watching a good movie. It's a great collaboration in the kitchen. Even if they are busy, they still have a good understanding and smile：）Sometimes they even clap and laugh. It feels really good Even sitting outside, I fell in love with the Hey Buddy vibe. It's like I'm one of them. But I just want to say that this Hey Buddy is magical! What magic is this?! You can see it's like a little country Shop and it's like everyone at every table knows each other. Naturally, the whole atmosphere is more intense I don't need to say much about the taste and quality of coffee! I had a drink for internal use. Just as I am on my way home, I will also take away for one more cup of coffee because of the obsession! Really recommend this Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon, very delicious and rich of flavours. Good combination with matcha latte, is very natural sweet and smooth flavour.
